Woven girls' dress - MAREN

Are you a sewing mom and looking for a pattern for a dress that you can sew from woven fabric?

The free MAREN dress pattern is designed for solid fabrics and is perfect for sewing from woven fabrics such as poplin, muslin or fine corduroy.

The dress has a button placket at the back, a gathered skirt that is attached at the waist and ruffled cuffs. The neckline is edged with bias tape.

You can, of course, sew the dress from a stretchy fabric without buttons. In this case, the sleeves and neckline can be finished with cuffs.

What do you need?

  • Fabric consumption: 1,2m
  • Elastic band 0.5cm wide, approx. 0.5m long
  • Bias tape 3 cm (incl. seam allowance) wide for neckline, approx. 0.5 m long
  • Fleece H180 2cm wide, length = dress length measured at the back
  • Buttons 7 pieces
